Skylar Desoto grew up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and has been both a talented horsewoman and photographer since childhood. Skylar’s dual interests allowed her to develop a unique perspective, both behind the lens at shows and in the saddle.
In 2018, Skylar joined forces with Gabriel Desoto, a partnership that would prove to be both professionally and personally significant. Their shared passion for training horses and dedication to competing at a high level has led to numerous collaborative successes. Skylar’s expertise in grooming, care, and health maintenance of show horses quickly became evident, earning her admiration and respect from their customers. In 2022, Skylar and Gabe married, further strengthening their bond both in and out of the arena. Skylar’s achievements as a top ribbon winner in both the Arabian and Saddlebred circuits are a testament to her skill and dedication.
